The Wharton Undergraduate Distressed Investing Group (WUDIG) was founded to build a solid foundation for students interested in learning about the distressed economy, such as firms experiencing financial or operational distress, default, or bankruptcy. Our members span across the University of Pennsylvania’s schools, to reach any students who see finance, specifically in distress investing and restructuring, as a passion. We host educational events, including lectures, research presentations with the faculty, and foster mentorship for career opportunities in distress investing and even higher education.
